We Buy Scrap Metal
How Ni Alloys Pays High Prices for Scrap
We are able to pay higher prices than other scrap yards because we sell our scrap to foundries as opposed to scrap processors.  Most scrap processors take nickel alloy scrap and blend the scrap to make Stainless Steel scrap, which they then sell to large Stainless Steel mills.  The Stainless Steel mills then melt the Stainless Steel scrap into raw materials that machine shops use to make products.   Foundries, on the other hand, take nickel alloy scrap, for instance Hastelloy C, melt the Hastelloy C, and make a product out of the Hastelloy C.  Because foundries need specific nickel alloy scrap and make a product out of the scrap, they pay a higher prices than scrap processors.
